She has been listed as a company director since 2015. A probate filing from December 2022 names her and states exactly what she inherited when he died.

Who is Anoushka Nara Giltsoff?
Giltsoff was born in February 1973, about ten years younger than Sean Lock, who was born in April 1963.
No date for their wedding has ever been made public. The Sun’s own report on the day the news of his death broke said the same thing: nobody knew when or where the couple married, or even when they met.
Their first child, a daughter, was born in 2004. A second daughter followed in 2006, then a son in 2009. By the time Sean Lock died, the children were around 17, 15 and 12. Today, the two daughters are in their early twenties, and their son is around 16 or 17.
The family lived in Muswell Hill, in north London, away from the cameras that followed Sean Lock’s television career. Neither of them used social media, and neither gave interviews about their home life.
The two times Sean Lock talked about his wife
Sean Lock rarely discussed his marriage in interviews. Two mentions from 2010 make up almost everything he ever said about it in public.
Talking to the Daily Mail that year, he described his wife’s approach to keeping their children safe in the sun:
“My partner Anoushka is excellent about sun protection, and if it’s hot, she makes sure she puts SPF50 cream on the children before they step out of the house.”
The same year, he told Time Out that coming home after a stretch on tour usually meant a few days of friction with his wife and kids before things settled down again.
His comedy was surreal and deadpan, built around observation rather than his own life, and he gave very few interviews about anything personal.
The charity work no one connected to Sean Lock
Since 11 May 2015, Anoushka Nara Giltsoff has been a director of PRAMDEPOT C.I.C., a small charity registered in Haringey, north London. On the paperwork filed with Companies House, she lists her own occupation as “home maker.”
PramDepot began as an arts project and grew into the only baby bank operating in the borough. It collects donated clothes, cots, prams and other baby equipment, and packs them into emergency boxes for new mothers with little else coming their way, close to 400 families a year. Each box includes a mattress and sheets, so it can double as a safe place for a newborn to sleep if the family has nothing else. Larger items it can’t use go to Little Village, a bigger baby bank charity it works alongside. PramDepot is still running today, from a small unit in the same part of north London.
This directorship has not previously been reported in connection with Sean Lock, despite more than fifteen years of press coverage about him, including the obituaries written the week he died.
She has also been listed as a director of Sean Lock Limited, his own company, since December 2016. The company has kept filing accounts in his name since his death.
Sean Lock’s death and his estate
Sean Lock, a longtime team captain on Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats, died at home on 16 August 2021, aged 58. The news wasn’t made public for two days, until 18 August. Friends including Bill Bailey later said he had been dealing with lung cancer privately for about two years before his death.
He had faced cancer once before, decades earlier, after years of working outdoors as a builder without sunscreen. That illness was unrelated, and he made a full recovery.
His agent’s statement at the time called him “a cherished husband and father to three children,” and asked for the family’s privacy to be respected. Comedian Alan Davies, who had known Sean Lock since 1988, gave one of the only public tributes to mention Giltsoff directly. He said: “I feel very sad today for Anoushka and their children.”
Probate records made public in December 2022 gave his estate a net value of £4,084,911, left in trust for Giltsoff and their three children. Apart from the initial coverage of his death, it was the only other time her name appeared in the news. Giltsoff is still listed as one of PramDepot’s directors.
