Who Is Lisa Hogan?
Lisa Hogan is an Irish actress and sculptor from Dublin. She was discovered by John Cleese in the early 1990s and appeared in his 1997 film Fierce Creatures, playing a Sea Lion Keeper alongside Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Kline. She later founded LGH Sculptures, a figurative art practice, before co-founding the Diddly Squat Farm Shop with Jeremy Clarkson in 2020. The 1996 Learjet Crash
In August 1996, Lisa Hogan was the only passenger on a private Learjet flying from Palma, Majorca to London. The flight had been arranged by Baron Steven Bentinck, described in press coverage at the time as a friend of hers. On approach to RAF Northolt in Middlesex, the two Spanish pilots became disoriented and started arguing in the cockpit. She told the Air Accidents Investigation Branch what happened:
“We were going round and round for ages and then they started arguing. The co-pilot tried to do something, but the pilot smashed his hands off the controls and then we crashed.”
The Learjet overshot the runway and hit a van on the A40 dual-carriageway. She was treated for shock, cuts and bruises. Her mother, Arlene Hogan, spoke to reporters and said her daughter was recovering well.
The Irish Times published a report that afternoon and recorded her age as 25, which puts her at 55 in June 2026.

Her Former Relationship and Three Children

The series opens with Jeremy Clarkson under doctor’s orders to slow down after a health scare. It also covers the fallout from a UK government budget on the farming community, high-tech changes at Diddly Squat, Kaleb Cooper’s first trip abroad, and ongoing challenges at The Farmer’s Dog pub in Asthall, Oxfordshire.
Clarkson has confirmed the show will take a break after this run. “Whatever happens we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out,” he said. “We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years.”
