Are Rebecca and Bailey Still Together After MAFS UK?

Rebecca Fenney and Bailey Smith split in July 2025. Bailey ended the relationship at a cast festival weekend, about a month after their in-show reunion was filmed. Since then, Rebecca has gone public with a new girlfriend, Liverpool FC Women’s and Wales international footballer Lily Woodham. Bailey is single.

The breakup was not confirmed publicly until November 16, 2025 — four months after it happened, and days after the Series 10 finale aired on E4.

What Happened After MAFS UK Series 10 Ended

Married at First Sight UK Series 10 was filmed months before it aired on Channel 4 in autumn 2025. The in-show reunion dinner — which showed Rebecca and Bailey still together — was filmed in June 2025. By the time those scenes reached viewers in November, the relationship had already been over for four months.

There were two separate reunion events. The in-show reunion dinner, filmed in June and aired November 13 and 14, showed the couple spending 50 to 60 percent of their time between Liverpool and Hove. The Series 10 reunion special, a separate programme filmed later in 2025, aired on March 1, 2026 on E4. That is where the full story came out.

Of the twelve couples from MAFS UK Series 10, only Abigail Lindsay and John Shepherd are still together.

Who Are Rebecca and Bailey?

Rebecca Fenney, 32, is an aesthetics nurse and the owner of Burrows Lane Aesthetics Clinic in Liverpool. Before MAFS UK, she had been through a broken engagement and a subsequent relationship that also ended. She went into the experiment asking specifically for an “alpha male.”

Bailey Smith — whose real name is David Bailey (Smith was a show pseudonym) — is 37, originally from St Albans and now living in Hove, Brighton. He runs Bluebelle Brewing Co, a vegan and gluten-free microbrewery named after his three-year-old daughter, Bluebelle Meadow. He is also the nephew of St Albans City FC chairman Lawrence Levy.

The two were matched by MAFS UK experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson, and Charlene Douglas.

From the Altar to Final Vows — Their MAFS UK Journey

Rebecca denied Bailey a kiss at their wedding altar. She told producers he was not her type and questioned privately whether he was the alpha she needed. His friends at the reception confirmed he was not actually 6ft 4 and did not go to the gym every day.

The honeymoon shifted things. A cyclone left them stranded in their hotel room with nowhere to go. They talked. By the end of the trip, Rebecca told producers Bailey was out of the friendzone. From that point, they became one of Series 10’s most watched couples — choosing to stay at every commitment ceremony without exception.

At their final vows, aired on E4 on November 12, 2025:

  • Rebecca said: “My heart knows the search is over. I’ve found the man I’ve been searching for.”
  • Bailey said: “We’ve found the love people strive for. I would move heaven and earth to make this relationship work.”

Five weeks later, Bailey ended the relationship.

Why Did Rebecca and Bailey Break Up?

The public Instagram statements in November 2025 gave the outline. The March 2026 reunion special on E4 gave the details.

The car conversation after final vows

On the drive home from filming final vows in June 2025, Rebecca told Bailey she had been messaging an ex during the show — something she had not told him before. At the March reunion, Bailey addressed it directly: “Why did I change? I changed because after final vows I feel like you lied to me because of what you told me in the car on the way home.”

Rebecca’s position is that the messages were never flirtatious and the ex did not know she was filming MAFS UK.

How both sides described the relationship falling apart

At the reunion, Bailey said: “I couldn’t breathe without her telling me off for doing something.” He told the cast he had felt the relationship was being damaged from the inside and had attempted to end things more than once before the July festival weekend.

Rebecca saw it differently: “Things started to change. I felt like I was putting so much into it and I felt like Bailey wasn’t in this relationship as much as he had been throughout the experiment.”

Before the festival where they split, Rebecca had been in contact with an aesthetics clinic in Hove, making arrangements to relocate. That plan ended at the festival.

The festival fling

Days after ending things with Rebecca, Bailey slept with a close friend of fellow Series 10 cast member April Holmes. Rebecca found out not from Bailey, and not from April, but from co-star Abigail Lindsay. This became the source of the heated confrontation between Rebecca and April at the March 2026 reunion special.

What both posted on November 16, 2025

Rebecca published a photo with the caption: “To answer all the questions…. Yes, he fumbled.” — set to Sabrina Carpenter’s Goodbye.

Bailey posted: “We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately the relationship came to an end. I still have a lot of love for Bec and I’m grateful for the amazing relationship we shared. I had fallen for Bec completely and it really was a true love story.”

He also spoke to BBC Radio Sussex: “Going through heartbreak in the public eye has been quite difficult. It took me a while to take the ring off, if I am honest.”

Who Is Rebecca Dating Now?

On December 18, 2025, Rebecca went Instagram official with Lily Woodham. The announcement came via a video montage in which Lily held up a hand-painted sign that read “Will you be my girlfriend?” Rebecca said yes. The caption: “Here’s my new love. My 5ft 4 alpha.”

The “alpha” line was a deliberate callback to her original MAFS UK requirement. Lily is 5ft 4.

Who Lily Woodham is:

Lily Susan Woodham was born on September 3, 2000, in Cardiff, Wales. She is a left-back for Liverpool FC Women in the Women’s Super League, wearing the number 16 shirt. She has earned over 42 caps for the Wales national team, scoring three international goals, including on her senior debut against the Faroe Islands in 2020. She played at UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 in Switzerland.

Her club career ran through Bristol City, Reading (where she was named captain in 2023-24), a loan at Charlton Athletic, a transfer to Seattle Reign in the United States, a loan at Crystal Palace, and then Liverpool FC Women, where she signed permanently on July 28, 2025. She joined the club the same summer Rebecca and Bailey broke up.

She is also close friends with Everton footballer Maz Pacheco, who is in a relationship with MAFS UK Series 10 cast member Leah — likely how the two social circles first overlapped.

Rebecca explained how they met: “Lily and I met through friends. I actually saw Lily play a game of football but I never knew who she was. So I have actually seen her play football before I even knew she existed.”

On what first drew her in: “Her energy. Her confidence. Her smile. Her smell.”

Rebecca addressed her first same-sex relationship directly when followers questioned it: “I went on MAFS for a straight relationship because I was looking for a man at the time, obviously. I didn’t have doubts or curiosity about my sexuality. It just happened this way. But I’m so glad it did, I’m so happy.”

The March 2026 Reunion Special — Bailey’s Confession

The Series 10 reunion special aired on E4 on March 1, 2026 from 9pm to 10:35pm. Rebecca and Bailey’s story dominated the episode.

Bailey said on camera: “I have regrets about how it ended. It has been tough not being with her and not having her. I’m definitely still in love with Bec. It’s hard not to wanna be back with her because all I remember is the good times.” He also admitted he “got with someone too soon” after the split.

Rebecca’s account carried a different weight: “Then… Bailey broke up with me. My world came crushing down. Everything that we had was ripped from underneath me. Since then we’ve not been in touch.”

The reunion also produced a confrontation between Rebecca and April Holmes over Bailey sleeping with April’s close friend. Rebecca told April: “I don’t dislike you, I would just never associate with someone like you,” calling her “the opposite of a girls girl.” April left the dinner in tears, calling Rebecca “a mean girl.”

The following day, Rebecca posted: “I understand I came across cold and harsh at the reunion. I had been hurt and we spent hours dragging it all back up for the sake of the episode. I’m just human, and talking about it took its toll. I was defensive and cold at times and I’m sorry if I upset anybody.”

She added: “I never blamed April for Bailey’s actions. He was to blame. I was upset because April never told me when she found out.”

Where Rebecca and Bailey Stand in 2026

Rebecca is with Lily Woodham. No outlet has reported a split since they went public in December 2025. Bailey is single, focused on his daughter Bluebelle and his microbrewery, and told the St Albans Times in January 2026: “Even though it didn’t end in forever love, I still would have done it 10 times over.”

When he found out about Rebecca and Lily through friends sending him messages, he said: “I was not expecting it at all. I almost thought maybe it was a bit of a joke at first, but obviously it’s serious, and like they look happy, so I’ve got no bad feelings towards it.”

Rebecca had already closed the door. In a November 2025 Instagram Q&A, she said: “I will always, always wish him all the best and will always want the best for him. But I won’t ever go looking for Bailey for the rest of my life. That chapter is closed.”

Four months later, Bailey stood in front of her at the March 2026 reunion and said he is still in love with her.

They are not getting back together.
